Each day I help my clients overcome many digestive challenges such as IBS, diabetes and reflux. I often give them a diet that will help them get on the track to loving a healthy and vibrant life.
More and more I find it’s not what my clients are eating, it’s what’s eating them…
How many of you hate your job and feel that you are too old or too unqualified to find another one?
Is your relationship wearing you down to where your get up and go has got up and gone?
Are the demands of your family, church and/or children too much to bear?
Often overlooked and more so pushed beneath the surface, these social-emotional stressors become chains around your neck. These stressors zap your energy, steal your joy and often destroy all hope of feeling better and doing better.
So while I am not a psychiatrist, counselor or life coach (nor do I play any of these roles on TV), I recognize the signs of stress via the dis-ease and via the symptoms that my clients present. I offer you some of the same encouragement that I offer to them.
- You are more than capable and you are more than enough!
- The universe is not only waiting for your greatness, it supports it!
- You are the head and not the tail, above and not beneath.
- You are destined for Greatness!
- Make bold decisions to care for yourself.
- Refuse to eat, drink and sleep with the sheep.
- Start right now! That’s all you have, is now.
Here is an actual conversation between me and a client.
Client: My job is killing me.
Me: Why don’t you just quit?
Client: I can’t quit.
Me: Your job is killing you right?
Client: Right.
Me: Then one way or the other, you are going to leave your job anyway.
Six months later…
Client: (whispering) I quit my job.
Me: What?
Client: I quit my job.
Me: How do you feel?
Client: (Shouting) Great!
I leave you with a poem from the French author Guillaume Apollinaire.
Come to the edge.
We might fall.
Come to the edge.
It’s too high!
COME TO THE EDGE!
And they came,
and he pushed,
and they flew.
Wishing you well,
Ivan Anderson
